The Idaho Independent Movement

There’s an Independent movement afoot in Idaho. It’s not new, it actually takes us back to the true Idaho. Idaho became a state in 1890. Within a year, Hope had incorporated as a town. Recognizing that Boise was too far away, the people of Hope decided to organize and have a voice for their community. Many other townships followed suit over the years.

Idaho is known for rugged individualism and building community, from the outset. The men, women, and children who lived here were tough as nails, and they recognized the importance of building schools and hospitals and having public gathering places. People sacrificed to make communities strong.

Sixteen years ago, we allowed outside interests to gain a foothold, pin a scorecard on our state, pour dark money into elections, and push us right back under distant rule. It’s time to take that back.

That’s right the real election is still ahead of us. We do not have to accept the results of the closed primary where only a fraction of the community votes. We can send the carpet baggers packing. Elect Larson for the Idaho House.

And, while you are at it, check out the other independent candidates.
